The Hollywood Reporter says that Sean Anders and John Morris
are in negotiations to rewrite 3 Mississippi (AKA "Turkey Bowl") for
Warner Bros. Anders would direct.
According to the trade, the film "tells of the feud
between two families over an annual Thanksgiving touch football game that has
existed for 50 years."

Ferrell and Wahlberg, who previously teamed up for hit The
Other Guys, are attached to play the heads of the opposing households.
Warner Bros. is targeting a September start for the project.
Ferrell is producing with his Gary Sanchez Productions partner Adam McKay and
Chris Henchy.
Anders and Morris's screenplay credits include Hot Tub Time
Machine, She's Out of My League and Mr. Popper's Penguins. Anders also directed
Sex Drive and the upcoming That's My Boy.
