Fox has found some fun ways to show more of Ridley Scott‘s
Prometheus beyond the standard trailers, clips, TV spots, and images.
The latest release from the viral campaign is a full,
two-and-a-half minute ad for David, and it’s a perfect mixture of cool and
creepy.
The film also stars Noomi Rapace, Idris Elba, Rafe Spall, Sean
Harris, Logan Marshall-Green, and Charlize Theron. Prometheus opens in 3D on June 8th. Scott recently said that the cut you see in
theaters will be the director’s cut and run a hair under two hours.
Here’s the official synopsis for Prometheus:
“Ridley Scott, director of “Alien” and “Blade Runner,”
returns to the genre he helped define. With PROMETHEUS, he creates a
groundbreaking mythology, in which a team of explorers discover a clue to the
origins of mankind on Earth, leading them on a thrilling journey to the darkest
corners of the universe. There, they must fight a terrifying battle to save the
future of the human race.”
