Aziz Ansari has just been tapped to join Seth Rogen and company's latest comedy The Apocalypse.
The film will center on Rogen, Jay Baruchel, James Franco, Jonah Hill, Danny McBride and Craig Robinson -- who will all be playing themselves -- as they face the biblical end of days during a get-together at Franco's house. The idea for the movie was originally based on a short film called Jay and Seth vs. the Apocalypse, which was supposed to be a fake trailer about Rogen and Baruchel living together after the apocalypse.
Cinema Blend reports (via Grantland) that the $30 million project is set to begin shooting soon in New Orleans. The film will mark Rogen and Evan Goldberg's directorial debut.
